The story of a Welshman's war in Bomber Command. Another story of training, bombing, crash and capture and the years in Stalag Luft III. This story is another that has gained in frankness what it had lost in accuracy (not that the latter is lacking). This memoir was published by the author personally, at the age of 68. We were flying at less than a 1,000 feet at the time, there was no sign of activity at the target nor were there any fires within miles of it.
